The Lithuanian Consumer Institute is a non-governmental non-profit organisation established in 2000. It works to support consumers and professionals through education, training and consultation, offering guidance on issues ranging from product and service safety to consumer rights, financial services and environmental concerns.  In its advocacy role, the Institute promotes responsible business behaviour and fair commercial practices, engaging with authorities and other stakeholders to influence policy and improve consumer protection frameworks. The Institute also participates in collaborative projects and initiatives designed to enhance consumer awareness and strengthen cooperation between public institutions and civil society organisations on consumer education.  The Lithuanian Consumer Institute is a full member of BETTER FINANCE.
