On September 24 EuroFinUse will be present at Eurosif's first European SRI Symposium. This high-profile policy event, taking place in Brussels is positioned as a dialogue between the sustainable and responsible investment industry and European policy-makers. It will be an opportunity to discuss key policy and industry developments such as the long term investment Green Paper or the recent action plan of the EC on corporate governance and engagement.

Socially responsible investing (SRI), is any investment strategy which seeks to consider both financial return and social good in areas such as environment, social justice, and corporate governance.

Attendants to this symposium will have the opportunity to follow and participate in the EU debate around two roundtables:

  • Long-term investing and the transition to green economy:  which role for sustainable and responsible investing?
  • Engaging shareholders and building more sustainable companies: views from the SRI industry on the Commission’s recent Action Plan.
