17 March 2016 - Today ADICAE, the Spanish association representing financial end users and BETTER FINANCE member, will reveal the truth that has so far been hidden behind some statements uttered by Bankia’s president at its shareholders’ meeting.
The consumer association will shed light on the actual terms of the 'offer' by Goirigolzarri to 'compensate' preferential and small shareholders and will reveal the true purpose of the attack on Adicae by Bankia as well as the manipulation of the savers defrauded by the entity.
ADICAE will announce its planned legal actions after being on the receiving end of "slander" by Goirigolzarri, behaviour that ADICAE says "reflects his panic ahead of the upcoming judicial events".
Guillaume Prache, managing director of BETTER FINANCE and representing individual shareholders at the European level, will join Manuel Pardos to support ADICAE in its defense of individual shareholders at the general meetings of financial institutions.
A press conference will take place on Thursday 17 March at 11h00 at the headquarters of ADICAE in Madrid to bring some clarity following the alleged falsehoods expressed by Bankia’s president, José Ignacio Goirigolzarri, referring to a supposed agreement with ADICAE to 'compensate' small shareholders deceived by Bankia.
