VZMD is a Slovenian non-governmental organisation representing the rights and interests of minority shareholders. Born in 2005, VZMD is highly involved in corporate governance, and it actively works toto shape legislation and support decisions affecting companies and broader economic development. The association’s work encompasses monitoring corporate behaviour, providing information and support to investors, coordinating collective actions and participating in general meetings, as well as shaping public policy and legislation that affects shareholder rights and investor protection. VZMD has been involved in hundreds of decision‑making cases and procedures at company meetings and has brought legal actions. VZMD is a full member of BETTER FINANCE.
