VFB, the Flemish Federation of Investors, is a non-profit organisation providing information, communication and training for individual investors, with a strong focus on equities. Established in 1990, it is one of the most active retail investor organisations in Flanders, promoting shareholder education, market engagement and informed investment decisions among private investors. The federation’s membership includes around 6,000 individual paying members and approximately 90 corporate members, numbers that reflect its role as a bridge between individual savers and the broader financial ecosystem. VFB’s activities are designed to enhance financial literacy and shareholder competence through seminars, workshops, publications and newsletters, and by offering analytical tools and market commentary tailored to retail investors’ needs.
