ShareAction is a registered charity promoting responsible investment and encouraging better corporate behaviour on environmental, social and governance issues. Originally founded in 2005 as FairPensions, the organisation rebranded to ShareAction in 2013 to reflect a broader mission of transforming investment practices so that capital markets serve both people and the planet. The organisation works with institutional investors, civil society organisations, policymakers and individuals to drive change by building capacity for effective stewardship, conducting influential research and rankings, and mobilising campaigns that address pressing issues such as climate change, workforce equity, health outcomes and corporate accountability. ShareAction’s work includes benchmarking asset managers and pension funds on responsible investment standards, advocating for legislative and regulatory reform in the UK and EU. ShareAction is an associate member of BETTER FINANCE.
