INVESTAS is the Luxembourg association of private shareholders, dedicated to promoting savings, encouraging investment and defending the interests of securities holders. It was born in 2000 on the basis of the Association Luxembourgeoise pour le Développement de l’Épargne et la Défense des Intérêts des Détenteurs de Valeurs Mobilières (DEDID, 1959). As a non-profit association, INVESTAS works to support investor awareness and financial education, organise events such as conferences and company visits for its members, and act on behalf of private investors in matters relating to market transparency, corporate governance and shareholder rights. Its activities include publishing and disseminating information, facilitating dialogue with financial institutions such as the Bourse de Luxembourg, and promoting best practices for long-term shareholding in Luxembourg’s capital markets. INVESTAS is a full member of BETTER FINANCE.
