Helinas is a Greek non-governmental investors association established in 2017 in Athens. It brings together hundreds of active members and is widely recognised as a leading organisation in shareholder activism and investor representation in Greece, defending the rights of private and institutional investors across a wide range of financial and investment products. Helinas also provides representation services at general meetings of listed companies, including proxy voting and stewardship, enabling investors to assert their rights and interests directly in corporate governance processes. It promotes the adoption of equity culture in Greece, continuous investor education and information to combat financial illiteracy, and collective action through mass and class actions when appropriate. Helinas is a full member of BETTER FINANCE.
