CGPC is a French non-profit organisation dedicated to protecting end consumers in areas such as social protection, retirement, savings and investment. Established in 1997, it promotes high-quality financial advice through certified wealth management professionals and specialised councils. CGPC’s core activity is the certification of financial planning professionals: it awards the Expert Conseil en Gestion de Patrimoine (ECGP) qualification recognised at level 7 of the French National Register of Professional Certifications (RNCP), equivalent to a master’s level, and the international Certified Financial Planner™ (CFP) designation, under licence from the Financial Planning Standards Board (FPSB). This certification framework ensures that certified advisors act honestly, loyally and professionally in the best interests of saver-clients. CGPC is an associate member of BETTER FINANCE.
