In practice, ATM engages with market authorities such as the Comissão do Mercado de Valores Mobiliários (CMVM) and participates in public debates and consultations on regulatory issues. It also monitors market developments and company behaviour on behalf of its members, including advocating for equitable conditions in corporate actions and public offerings.
