The Regulation for a Key Information Document (KID) for Investment Products faces serious threats from within the European Parliament itself.

In order to present a united front on behalf of the hundreds of millions of European consumers and individual investors and draw attention to this travesty, EuroFinUse joined forces with Finance Watch and BEUC (the European Consumer Organisation), calling all parties involved in the legislative process to move on to the trialogue phase without further delay and without reducing the scope of the regulation… all that before the formation of the new Parliament and Commission in 2014.

To this end a letter was sent out to the all MEPs as well as the current Presidency of the Council of the European Union held by Lithuania and the upcoming one, to be held by Greece.

Please read here the letter Dutch, English, French, German and Spanish.
