FAIDER is the French federation of investor and life insurance policyholder associations. Established in 2004, it unites 15 associations which together represent around 1.5 million individual members, and works to defend savers’ rights, particularly in relation to retirement and long-term savings products. The federation intervenes with public authorities, regulatory bodies and financial institutions to influence policy, regulation and market practices. FAIDER plays a recognised role particularly in French financial governance: representatives of the federation participate in consultative bodies and contribute to discussions intended to strengthen retail investor protection and improve regulation in banking, insurance and investment markets. FAIDER is a full member of BETTER FINANCE.
