DW recently published an article titled "Aging Europe: Rising costs threaten EU pensions," in which they discuss in-depth the challenges faced by pension systems across the European Union. The article highlights the growing strain on pension systems as Europe's population ages, with about 20% of residents now aged 65 or older.
BETTER FINANCE's Director of Communications, Arnaud Houdmont, was quoted saying, "Over the last decade, Europe’s pension crisis has been significantly worsened due to persistently low real returns that were not sufficient to offset inflation."
