WEBINAR | Investor Education in times of High Inflation, Financial Repression & Market Volatility

For this year’s edition of Global Money Week (GMW), EFAMA and BETTER FINANCE have teamed up with the European Youth Parliament to jointly organise a webinar on investor education to help young citizens benefit from capital markets and support sustainable development in times of high inflation, financial repression, and market volatility.

The main goal of the event will be to discuss whether the new macroeconomic environment requires the authorities and private sector actors to take some new specific initiatives in the area of investor education and financial literacy to help keep society on the path to achieving sustainability goals and address the concerns of the younger generation about rising prices, market volatility and the merits of investing in capital markets.

How to best meet the needs of the younger generation to enable them to make sound and responsible financial decisions that would both ensure their financial well-being and benefit society.

With the participation of three representatives from the European Youth Parliament, Kevin Boland, Kevin Van Hevel, and Malgorzata Kupiec, who will engage in a discussion with Annamaria Lusardi, Chiara Monticone, and Tatyana Panova.
